Prepare to rock when HOLD ON: THE MUSICAL explodes on the Feinstein's/54 Below stage in concert on Friday, February 19, 2016.

The soundtrack includes a soaring score of 80's hits with a present-day twist, written by Rik Emmett, Gil Moore, and Mike Levine, the brilliant members of the Canadian Hall of Fame rock band, Triumph! Included will be songs "Magic Power," "Fight the Good Fight," "Lay it on the Line" and more.

HOLD ON: THE MUSICAL depicts the current-day struggles of a gay singer-songwriter, his obstacles, and seemingly unattainable quest for acceptance and happiness. Book writer Beth Crawford has teamed up with New York City Director, Richard J. Hinds (Associate Director of Broadway's NEWSIES!), and Music Director, Eric Fotre Leach, to develop a piece that not only resonates with those who seek love, but with those wishing companionship for a loved one.

Be one of the first to hear this exciting new musical featuring Jenn Colella (IF/THEN, CHAPLIN), Jennifer DiNoia (WICKED), Kacie Sheik (HAIR), Dan DeLuca (NEWSIES!), John Riddle (THE VISIT), Mike Schwitter (PIPPIN), and a cast of Broadway's best!

Inspired when her son "came out," writer Beth Crawford created a piece that would portray real people and relevant topics including the recent discriminatory issues resulting from the Religious Freedom Act, as well as the historic June 26th Supreme Court ruling in favor of same-sex marriage. "While great strides have been made, we are not there yet," Crawford states. Her goal for HOLD ON: THE MUSICAL is to open the hearts and minds of those less accepting, while bringing unity and peace to those individuals and families who continue to struggle.

Crawford notes, "I spent countless hours listening to Triumph's catalogue and hand-picked 11 songs that remarkably fit the story as if written for this exact project 30 years ago." Crawford continues, "I am in awe as I watch our cast of young actors sing and jive to HOLD ON's soundtrack. It is truly an honor to introduce Triumph's inspiring music to a new generation of listener!"
