New York's hottest young performers sing We Are The Tigers, an original pop/rock musical and darkly comic murder mystery about a dysfunctional group of high school cheerleaders. The concert will feature highlights from the musical's edgy and upbeat score along with several bonus selections from writer/composer Rebekah M. Allen's developing and upcoming projects. The evening will bring together ten Broadway and Off-Broadway performers to premiere a fresh slate of fully-orchestrated contemporary music and introduce New York theatergoers to the humor, suspense, and infectious fun of We Are The Tigers. Rebekah M. Allen is a musical theater writer based out of New York City. Her original projects include We Are the Tigers: A New Musical, Step Up to the Final Destination in 3D: The Musical, Remission: A Musical, Glitter City, My Gay Killer Husband: A Lifetime Original Musical (Boo Festival Award Winner), and a few other projects with "A/the Musical" in the title. She is currently a lyricist in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop.
