Award winning vocalists Brian Farley and David Gurland return for two more performances of their first full show together.- An evening of RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN.  Already great interpreters of the American Popular songbook, this will be the pair's first foray into the catalog of arguably the greatest songwriting team in history. Featuring songs from Carousel, The Sound of Music, The King and I, this years' biggest Broadway hit South Pacific, and many more. Musically directed by Tracy Stark., The show previously played the Laurie Beechman Theatre in July to packed houses and ecstatic reviews

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

David Gurland, who hails from New York City, has won a place as one of the most formidable openly gay singers in New York's music scene.  Channeling cabaret experience and instincts into his pop/rock shows, Gurland merges talent, presence and humor, into an unforgettable entertainment experience. Gurland's accolades include 5 MAC Award nominations, the MAC/Hanson Award, a Gay and Lesbian American Music Award Nomination, and three Bistro Awards, one of which recognized his first CD, released in 1999 to rave reviews.   David has been seen at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Cutting Room, The Bitter End, Town Hall, CB's Gallery, The Living Room, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, and The Metropolitan Room, as well as out of town venues like Martini Beach in Cape MayOdette's in New Hope, The Gardenia in LA, the Manor in NJ and Twiggs in San Diego. Brian Farley has been living and performing and teaching swimming in New York for 10 years. He has performed around the country regionally as Tony in West Side Story, Che in Evita, and the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, among others. In NYC he starred in the Fringe Festival Production of Principia, and has performed for President and Senator Clinton in Picasso at the Lapin Agile .In 2004 he created 'The Farley Brothers,' an act he performed with his brother. In 2006 Brian was nominated for a New York City Nightlife Award, a MAC Award, and won a Backstage Bistro Award for his work in "The Farley Brothers: From Here to Fraternity.' Most recently he made his solo cabaret debut in 'Brian Farley: By Myself.

Tracy Stark-Pianist/Singer/Songwriter/Arranger Tracy Stark is a 10 time MAC nominee, and Bistro Award winner for musical direction, and has worked with Lesley Gore, Phoebe Snow, Karen Black, Randy Jones (Village People), Jimmy Osmond, Tovah Feldshuh, Mary Bond Davis, and hundreds of other vocalists.  Her songs appear on at least 20 different compilations, and have won numerous accolades in songwriter competitions. Her most recent CD, 'Feast for the Heart'  is exquisitely produced by Richard Barone, and includes a duet with the inimitable Phoebe Snow. Tracy can be found on Tuesday nights at the infamous Don't Tell Mama in New York City, showing off her 2000 song repertoire, entertaining drunken tourists.  www.myspace.com/tracystark.
