Gaelen Gilliland, Hannah Elless and More Set for Broadway's ROAR Benefit at Laurie Beechman Tonight, 9/17

The first Broadway's "ROAR" Rockers Obliterating Ailing Renal will take place at the Laurie Beechman Theater tonight, September 17th at 9:30 P.M. This is a benefit for actress, Kellie Lynne Leach who is in end-stage renal failure and needs a kidney transplant.

The final cast announcement includes Autumn Hulburt (Legally Blonde: The Search for the Next Elle Woods), Gaelen Gilliland (Wicked, Legally Blonde, 9 to 5), Jared Zirilli (Lysistrata Jones, Off-Broadway's Fat Camp), Ryan Duncan (Shrek, Altar Boys), Hannah Elless (Godspell), Natalie Joy Johnson (Legally Blonde, Solo show at Joe's Pub), Ryan Williams (Sphinx Winks, Les Mis national tour), Sarah Corey (Alabama Shakes, The Public), and Renae Patti (Tony and Tina's Wedding). Meredith Long and David Brian Colbert also join the cast.

The show will be rock influenced, with a wide variety of rock and pop styles, from the 70's to now. Kellie Lynne Leach, who the benefit is for, will be singing as well. Brooke Berry (Cake Productions) hosts with six time MAC award winner Tracy Stark serving as music director with a full band. Amy Persons directs and produces the evening, co-producing with Cake Productions.
