Top New York and world burlesque performers are bringing their stunning, shocking, and sexy acts to New York City this spring and summer in GOTHAM BURLESQUE, which begins its monthly open ended run at the Triad Theater tomorrow, Saturday, April 2nd at 9:30PM. Presented by award-winning filmmaker, artist, and producer Gary Beeber, this exciting evening of song, dance, tricks and visual treats will play the first Saturday of each month with a different cast at the intimate Upper West Side venue, offering audiences a taste of a wide range of live entertainments from around the globe.

Scott Baker (who starred on Broadway in Oh! Calcutta and has appeared on SNL and The Late Show with David Letterman), the first ever Mr. Exotic World and the ‘King of Boylesque' TIGGER!, the "Fastest Tassel-Twirler from East to West" Peekaboo Pointe (who has appeared on Gossip Girl), Boo Boo Darlin', and stage kitten Dangrrr Doll. GOTHAM BURLESQUE will be hosted by the "Godfather of New Burlesque" James Habacker as his unforgettable character Mel Frye.
Gary Beeber is an award-winning American filmmaker whose documentaries Dirty Martini and the New Burlesque, Bally-Master, and Messenger have screened in over 50 festivals and won countless awards at the FirstGlance Film Festival, the DC Independent Film Festival, the Staten Island Film Festival, and the Coney Island Film Festival. Prior to devoting his energies to documentaries, he was a photographer and producer of art videos which were shown in 70 galleries and exhibitions worldwide, and several of his works are in corporate collections here in the city at Goldman Sachs, Pfizer Pharmaceutical, and Chase.
