Some of New York's top cabaret singers are putting on a show to raise money for God's Love We Deliver, the New York metropolitan area's leading provider of life-sustaining meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illnesses, in honor of the late Joan Rivers.

The show, which will be held at The Laurie Beechman on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at 4:00 p.m., includes multi-award winners Lennie Watts (director and performer), Dan Manjovi (music director and performer), Daryl Glenn, Charles Baran, Tanya Moberly and Danielle Erin Rhodes.

"The Laurie Beechman has strong ties to God's Love because Joan Rivers, who was a board member and longtime friend of the organization, did many New York shows at the theatre. We thought the Beechman would be an ideal place to honor her memory by donating to one of her favorite charities at her favorite venue," said Ronni Faust, producer and performer of the show and volunteer at God's Love.

"We're so grateful to every performer who is giving their time, energy, talent and love, to support our clients," says David Ludwigson, Chief Development Officer of God's Love We Deliver. "We know this will be a fabulous show, and how appropriate to hold it at one of Joan's favorite venues. Thank you again to everyone who's a part of it!"

"Every penny of the $20 cover charge will go to God's Love, which will fund two nutritious meals for a New Yorker who is too sick to shop or cook. We are so excited to work with the New York arts community to support such an important mission," said Faust.

In addition to the cover charge of $20, there is a $20 food/drink minimum. "The food is delicious, so it should be easy to find something good to eat or drink."
