Full Lineup Set for Cabaret Cares/Help Is On The Way Gala, 5/17

Help Is On The Way Today will hold its annual fundraising Gala on Sunday, May 17th, at Metropolitan Room. Help Is On The Way Today is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2005 by MAC AWARD winning producer, Joseph Macchia, to assist children and youth living with HIV and AIDS. The full lineup of incredible talent has been confirmed. Solo performers include:

Gretchen Reinhagen, Tracy Stark, Lennie Watts, Kim Grogg, Susan Winter, Barb Malley, Anthony Santelmo, Jr., Marina Colonna, Beau Howard, Skie Ocasio, Marla Green, Jim Brochu, Sue Matsuki, Liz McKendry, Karen Mason, Stacy Sullivan, Samara Ehrlich, Lindsay Holloway, and Fran Leonardis. Duet Performers are: Lisa Ellix and Christina Aranda.

The pre-show auction will be hosted by the hilarious Jay Rogers & Aaron Morishito.

This year Help Is On The Way Today will honor superb actress/singer Anita Gillette with The Ruth Kurtzman Lifetime Achievement Award. Performers Gary Lizardo and Ricky Ritzel will each receive a Spirit Award, designated for individuals who have shown unusual support of the charity throughout the previous year.

The ticket includes a cocktail hour, a delicious buffet dinner, unlimited beer, wine, soda and the special Gala cocktail, the fabulous show with New York's finest Broadway and Cabaret talent, the auction and a gift bag. Doors open at 5PM, and after mingling and conversation, buffet dinner will be served at 6:00 PM. At 7:30 the live auction begins, with the show and awards presentations beginning at 8:00 PM.
