Full Cast Set for BOYS VS. GIRLS Concert at (le) poisson rouge, 3/23

Boys Vs. Girls, created by Drew Overcash and produced by Broadway veterans Michael Balderrama, Richard H. Blake, and Sean Frank Sullivan of Last Call Theatricals, LLC has announced final casting for its upcoming concert presentation at (le) poisson rouge on March 23rd.

Brent Michael Diroma (Jersey Boys National Tour) will play Danny, the popular captain of the swim team. Jacob Boyd (Rock of Ages) will play Cole, Danny's slightly over the top best friend. Lauren Ashley Zakrin (Rock of Ages) will play Lindsay, Danny's ex and captain of the cheerleading squad. Kristolyn Lloyd (Heathers, The Bold and the Beautiful) will play Jess, Lindsay's sassy sidekick who's much more than she seems. The other classmates will be played by Anthony Crouchelli (The Adventures of Tom Sawyer), Scott Difford (Matilda The Musical), Taylor Noble, Yasmeen Sulieman (Beautiful The Carol King Musical), Heather Tepe (Matilda The Musical, Billy Elliott: The Musical), and Alan Wiggins (Beautiful The Carole King Musical, The Lion King). These performers will join previously announced Carla Stickler (Wicked) and Adam Kaplan (Newsies) for the 7pm concert. The band, under the direction of Jonathan Smith, consists of Micah Burgess , Cody Rahn, Alex Minier, and Bobbie Lee Crow III.

According to the press notes, "After their mother's death, Adam, the popular class president, and his loner twin sister Katie, have driven themselves into completely different worlds. However, when Adam has run out of ideas and seeks the help of Katie, their worlds collide and they are forced to not only come to terms with each other, but with themselves." The concert will showcase most of the Boys Vs. Girls catalogue, with styles including, rock, contemporary musical theatre , country, pop and R&B.
