THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - welcomes back Frankie Grande, who recently appeared at the club for two sold-out runs ofTitanique, with his solo concert "Livin' the Vida Grande" for two shows on Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26 at 9:30 PM.
Grande is a singer, dancer, actor, host, YouTube star and social media mogul whose time on Broadway and television has earned him fans around the world. In Livin' La Vida Grande, hegives the audience a peek into what it's like to "shine bright like a Frankie" through his outrageous antics, glittery personality, and unapologetic storytelling. Between singing his favorite pop hits by Rihanna and Celine Dion and Broadway show tunes from Cabaret to Rent, he dishes about his time in the "Big Brother" house, fangirls over his favorite divas, and shares the best ways to get likes on Instagram... all while in a loin cloth. Livin' La Vida Grande is conceived by Frankie Grande and directed byChadd McMillan. It features musical direction by Joshua Stephen Kartes and additional vocals byDominic Crossey and Marissa Rosen.
Frankie Grande became known to the world when he launched his successful YouTube channel in 2012 and after that, as a stand-out finalist on the hit CBS series, "Big Brother 16." Frankie followed that as a judge on the 2015 season of MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew" and as a houseguest on "Celebrity Big Brother" in the U.K. From 2016-2017, he co-hosted "Style Code Live," an interactive fashion and shopping show that streamed live on Amazon. His guest-starring roles on Nickelodeon's "Henry Danger" and Netflix's "Haters Back Off" have shown that he continues to be a fan favorite. Frankie has also starred on Broadway as Franz in the closing cast of Rock of Ages and made his debut with the mega-hit, Mamma Mia!
As a producer, he has worked with shows on Broadway including Hamlet, La Bete, and Born Yesterday, as well as Brooke Shields at Feinstein's at the Regency, and his own one-man show, Livin' La Vida Grande. His philanthropic work includes co-founding the non-profit arts organization Broadway in South Africa and working with buildOn, for which he was awarded their Global Impact Award.
