Feinstein's/54 Below will present Introducing Victoria Cook, June 8th, 2016 at 9:30. This concert is being Produced and Directed by Mitchell Walker of AKA Studio Productions. Tickets are available at www.54Below.com

"Victoria Cook (Into the Woods) returns to 54 Below, this time in her solo show debut, to give a personal and soulful rendition of the American songbook. Featuring songs from shows like Funny Girl and artists ranging from Joni Mitchell to Minnie Ripperton, expect an evening fueled by the sounds of the seventies that Victoria brings to life with the help of 'The Glatthorns', a seven piece brass band.

Backed by Jessica Hendy (Cats, Aida), Chris Blem (Disney on Classic), and Blaine Krauss (The Lion King, Radio City Music Hall). This is a night not to be missed!"

Dylan Glatthorn (Republic, Edison) will act as Musical Director and Arranger for this concert. Glatthorn is an American composer and lyricist and two-time recipient of the Alan Menken Award. His music has been described by the New York Times as "assured" with the "steaminess and drive" of Janacek and the "harmonic allure" of Debussy.

Victoria grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and attended the University of Cincinnati's prestigious College Conservatory of Music, where she obtained her BFA in Musical Theatre. Recent credits Off-Broadway: Into the Woods, the Public Theatre. Select Regional: The Theory of Relativity, Goodspeed Opera House. Meet Me in St. Louis: A Live Radio Play, Bucks County Playhouse. The Marvelous Wonderettes, Utah Shakespeare Festival. The Single Girls Guide, Capital Reparatory Theatre. Victoria just made her first Original Cast Recording debut with The Theory of Relativity, available through PS Classics.
