After critically lauded shows in New York, London and Paris, award-winning performer Eric Yves Garcia (Margaret Whiting Award; Bistro Award for Singing Instrumentalist) debuts his new show, "Pour Spirits", tonight, November 5th at The Metropolitan Room.

"Pour Spirits" walks down those lean, up-to-no-good hours, when the world yawns itself awake, but that restless chase for something new goes on," says Mr. Garcia. "Alcohols are called spirits because they inhabit everyone differently. I wanted to construct a show that would give a glimpse into those nights, those faces, those thrills, mistakes and near misses. To see humor in the unhumorous, and use it to find the way clear."

The show is written by Mr. Garcia, and is being directed by Lauren Fox. Mr. Garcia will be accompanied by Ritt Henn on bass and Peter Calo on guitar.

"Pour Spirits" features the songs of Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, the Avett Brothers, Billy Joel, Leonard Cohen, Ani DeFranco, Bob Dylan; as well as those of Jule Styne, Sinatra, Ellington and Nat King Cole

Additional performances are scheduled for Wednesday, November 25th, as well as Fridays, February 5th and March 4th. All performance times are 9:30pm.
