Siren songstresses Jac Huberman and Emily Swallow bring their unique chemistry as vocalists and storytellers to the stage to sing about obsessions ranging from nighttime baking to cleaning supplies addiction to pornography in their cabaret set Jac N' Swallow: Come Again, playing at Joe's Pub on Monday, August 5th, at 9:30pm.
Swallow, one of the stars of TNT's medical drama Monday Mornings, has appeared on TV's Southland, Flight of the Conchords, Ringer, andMedium, as well as on stage including Broadway's High Fidelity, Manhattan Theatre Club's Romantic Poetry, and The Public Theater's Measure for Pleasure.
Huberman, New York Musical Theatre Festival's first ever Broadway Idol, has performed her own one-woman cabarets across NYC; she's also appeared in I Love You Because at the Village Theater, Grease at St. Louis's MUNY, And The World Goes Round at the Prince Music Theatre in Philadelphia, and the "News in Revue" in the Berkshires.
Directed by Jim Augustine and under music direction by Mark Fifer, the set includes a wide variety of styles, from traditional standards to stage, mainstream pop/rock to all-new original works.
