Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Elizabeth A. Davis in WILD & FREE, Wednesday, January 27th and Thursday, January 28th.
Tony Award and Drama Desk nominee, Elizabeth A. Davis comes to Feinstein's/54 Below fresh off her inaugural writing debut at Goodspeed Musicals' Norma Terris Theatre with new musical, INDIAN JOE; an entirely original score for a gripping story based on true events. INDIAN JOE weaves sounds of Progressive Folk with Industrial Pop and pure country. This is a journey of overcoming prejudice. It's about finding your true voice and finding Home.
INDIAN JOE THE MUSICAL is based on the friendship of Elizabeth and Joe Lightfoot Gonzales (March 18, 1946 - August 15, 2014). Support the scholarship endowment set up in Joe's honor at www.IndianJoeTheMusical.com/take-action.
Joining Elizabeth is the Goodspeed Musicals Norma Terris cast of INDIAN JOE THE MUSICAL: David Finch (Woody Sez), Luke Holloway (Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), Jahi Kearse (Holler If You Hear Me), Paul Lincoln (Allegro), Marion Markham (The Events) and Matt Castle MD's (Once Upon A Mattress, Into The Woods). Jason Michael Webb is music supervisor (The Color Purple, The First Noel). Also joining Elizabeth are George Abud (The Visit) and fresh female voices Melanie Penn (Wake Up, Love) and Angelica Zollo (NYU).
