We know her as the sultry scene-stealer; "Shug Avery" from the Grammy-winning musical The Color Purple on Broadway & the "No Regrets" recording artist on E-One Records. However, this powerhouse singer/actress/songwriter has many more beautiful layers to her artistry. As a singer she has worked with LaChanze, Cher, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and producer Henry Krieger just to name a few. Her warm alluring voice will capture your heart and send you on a musical journey. The journey to her role on Broadway to working with industry royalty Beatles' guitarist Sir Paul McCartney.
Her set includes her signature pieces from The Color Purple; Too Beautiful For Words & Push Da Button. She, her live trio & tight background singers will perform songs from some of WITHERS' favorite musicals such as The Greatest Showman, Porgy & Bess, Ragtime, Closer Than Ever, The Waitress, Sunday In The Park With George and many more. In 2016 Elisabeth Withers went from Broadway to the boardroom starting a production & performance company; Orlando Eye On Talent, Inc. (#OEOT2020) with her social entrepreneur husband of 20 years. The dynamite duo produces seven power-pack artistic initiatives per year with sponsorships from Clear Channel, Trader Joe's, Bloomingdale's Government officials and most recently NASCAR. Elisabeth co-wrote the theme song as Music Coordinator for one of the largest global festivals www.FusionFest.org with Drummer; Damon Mendes and orchestrator/ conductor; Kenny Seymour (I Can Be Me Here copyright 2018). She garnered the Corporate Partnership Award from Orlando, FL District 6 Commissioner Samuel B Ings and her company Orlando Eye On Talent, Inc has given more K-12 & college students opportunities in the Arts than most. Her experience, hands-on training and mentorship is what landed her a position in The Arts & Entertainment Department at Valencia College as a Professor in Music and Theater.
