Erich Steinbock, Managing Director of The Carlyle Hotel, announced today that the Café Carlyle will present 13 encore performances of "At Home At The Carlyle: Elaine Stritch Singin' Sondheim. . . One Song At A Time." Ms. Stritch's triumphant, SRO, run ended last night on the legendary performers 85th Birthday.
Mr. Steinbock commented, "There has never been a greater demand at The Café Carlyle than for Ms. Stritch's latest show. We have turned dozens of patrons away each night, and felt that it would be a shame not to make this extraordinary ‘happening' available to as many fans as possible."Ms. Stritch will return with "At Home At The Carlyle: Elaine Stritch Singin' Sondheim. . . One Song At A Time" for three special Monday evening performances (March 22, March 29 and April 5), and then go on to play Tuesday through Saturday evenings beginning Tuesday, April 20 (through Saturday, May 1). All shows will begin at 8:45 P.M.There is a $125 music charge for all performances. Dinner is required for all shows. There will be dinner seating's at 6:30pm, 7:00pm and 7:30pm.
