After her acclaimed performance in Little Me for the Porchlight Revisits series, Columbia College senior Elya Faye Bottiger makes her Chicago cabaret debut in a tribute to legendary British musical theater actress, Ruthie Henshall. The evening will showcase Ms. Bottiger recreating some of Ms. Henshall's most notable performances. Known as the West End's Sutton Foster, Ms. Henshall starred as Polly in the original London production of Crazy for You as well as leading roles in the revivals of She Loves Me, Oliver! and Chicago; Fantine in the 10th Anniversary Dream Cast of Les Miserables; Mrs. Wilkinson in the filmed performance of Billy Elliott; Ellen on the complete symphonic recording of Miss Saigon; and made her Broadway debut in Putting It Together opposite George Hearn, Carol Burnett & John Barrowman.

Her Chicago credits include Little Me, Babes in Arms, and Applause for the Porchlight Revisits series, New Faces Sing Broadway 1972 at Porchlight Music Theatre, The Little Mermaid at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Wicked City at Chicago Theatre Workshop, At Mister Kelly's and Holiday Stories at Three Cat Productions, and The Marvelous Wonderettes at Open Door Repertory Theatre. Her regional credits include Gypsy, Rock of Ages, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Titanic at Timber Lake Playhouse. She will be returning to Timber Lake Playhouse this summer for Mary Poppins, Ah, Wilderness!, Evita, Scapino!, Carousel, and Little Shop Of Horrors. Ms. Bottiger is currently a senior at Columbia College Chicago.
The evening will be directed by Jeff Award nominee Christopher Pazdernik and music directed by Benjamin Nichols. Pazdernik previously directed Ms. Bottiger in Applause for Porchlight Revisits, New Faces Sing Broadway 1972 for Porchlight Music Theatre, and Wicked City for Chicago Theatre Workshop.
