Actor/singer Donald Wayne will present LOST IN THE FORTIES, for four performances, September 8, 10, 11 & 13, at Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street. He will be accompanied by Musical Director Doyle Newmyer. LOST IN THE FORTIES is directed by Spider Duncan Christopher.

An original one-man show, LOST IN THE FORTIES is a tribute to our military who have fought to maintain our freedom since World War II. It's also the story of Donald Wayne's family, particularly his father, a decorated officer in World War II & the impact that war has on servicemen & their families. All this is told through the music of the 1940's.

Donald Wayne has appeared on Broadway in Mame with Angela Lansbury & in Off-Broadway productions of The Balcony (Circle-in-the-Square) & The Boyfriend (Cherry Lane Theatre). Nationally, he has appeared at the Mark Taper Forum, The Old Globe, LA Shakespeare Festival, Starlight Musical Theatre & the St. Louis Municipal Opera. His film & TV work includes Coma, Funny Lady, W.U.S.A., The April Fools, Deadly Illusion, "The Practice," "Dynasty," "The Colbys," "The Cosby Show," "Another World' & "One Life to Live," among others. Donald is also the recipient of 2 Clio Awards for his commercial work. He has performed LOST IN THE FORTIES in both Los Angeles & New York City.

Proceeds from LOST IN THE FORTIES will be donated to Paralyzed Veterans of America.
