The Lady Power Project: A Devised Song Cycle presents a two day run at Dixon Place.

The Lady Power Project is a devised song cycle driven by music and centered around intersectional feminism. The show features original music based off of a series of images, paintings, and passages that represent and share the stories of women. The Lady Power Project: A Devised Song Cycle strives to empower individuals anywhere, whomever they may be. All proceeds will be donated to The Dwelling Place of NY, a women's homeless shelter dedicated to rebuilding women and getting them back on their feet.

The show was conceived and produced by Rikki Ziegelman, and is coproduced by Hayden Anderson. This is Anderson and Ziegelman's third show together as a producing team, the first two being Pop Diva's Go '40's! at Don't Tell Mama NYC, and Evelyn: A New Musical by Quenton Ellis, at Dixon Place. Alongside, The Lady Power Project: A Devised Song Cycle is directed under the leadership of Colleen Bowes, with original music by Quenton Ellis, Savannah Occhiogrosso, and Riiza, stage management by Kayla Williams, and assistant stage management by Avara Hebert. The cast features Camille Clossum, Caileigh Edell, Nora Elkind, Mia Ventura Lucas, Anna Nemetz, Angela Ramos, Haley Rolland, and Kelsey Elaine Wilbanks.

Dixon Place is a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting original works. The Dixon Place Lounge is open before and after the show and you can bring your drink in the theatre! Bar proceeds directly support Dixon Place's arts and mission.

The Lady Power Project: A Devised Song Cycle will premiere on October 10th & 11th, 2019 at 7:30pm at Dixon Place, with ticketing information to be announced.
