Denise Tomasello Plays Davenport's, 5/1

Denise Tomasello will return to the Windy City's music scene for a special one night only concert: An Evening With Denise Tomasello on Saturday, May 1 at 8pm at Davenport's.

After Winning the  After Dark Award for "Outstanding Cabaret Performer," during the course of her exciting career, Tomasello has headlined with legendary entertainers Don Rickles, Jackie Mason and Alan King. She has performed at many of the nation's most prestigious venues and swankiest nightclubs including New York City's Town Hall and Eighty-Eight's; The Chicago Theatre; and the Gardenia and Cinegrill in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.

Called a "Chicago musical institution" by the Sun-Times, WGN Radio's Rick Kogan praised Denise as "one of the city's most entertaining cabaret performers." She has performed to SRO crowds in headlining solo shows at the Park West, the legendary Pump Room, the Metropole, Gentry and George's. She has also made annual appearances at the Taste of Chicago - the Midwest's largest music festival. Denise will be joined by the talented Beckie Menzie as her musical director.
