MORE ABOUT DELIGHTED TOBEHERE

Delighted Tobehere's entertainment career began February 2001 where she performed alongside The Armorettes - "The Infamous Camp Drag Queens of the South" - in the legendary nightclub Backstreet Atlanta. Since her momentous first performance, she has been a tour de force in the drag scene both on-stage and behind the scenes.

Delighted Tobehere was named as one of the funniest drag queens in America by the Huffington Post, and the internationally celebrated comedian Pam Ann says that she is "hysterical!"

In 2015, Delighted debuted on NBC's America's Got Talent to rave reviews and 4 Yes votes from the judges: "I loved the entire performance" - Howard Stern, and "[Delighted] just became the first country music drag star!" - Howie Mandel.

A self described "Queen of all Trades," Delighted combines celebrity illusion, vocal impressions, live vocals, lip sync, comedy, intelligence, and quick wit to wow audiences from corporate functions to pride festivals.

Delighted's feature celebrity illusion is none other than Adele. London's QX Magazine says that her impersonation is "something that has to be seen to be believed!" and Boy George said that it was "perfection!"

It's not just about laughter. Anyone who has attended Delighted's shows in the last few years, seen her TEDx talk, heard her speak at a university campus, or been an invited guest at one of her lectures has experienced what she considers her personal mission: "Encouraging self-discovery and acceptance of others through the lens of drag through laughter and thought provoking entertainment."

Delighted continues to hear from those attending her shows, lectures, and speaking engagements who found clarity when their world was out of focus. Often they report having had revelations and "ah-ha" moments on how they view themselves and the world.

Hailing from the Carolinas, her southern upbringing lends a charm to her performances that makes everyone feel comfortable and welcomed, even in her new home of New York City! Within her first two months of living in The Big Apple, Delighted won the titles of "New York's Best In Drag" and a live singing drag queen competition called "Sing, Queen!," as well as securing weekly residencies at local nightclubs. She has performed over 100 shows in both London and LA and travels extensively across the nation.

Delighted was featured in the New York Times for her work as a top Broadway style live singing drag queen, and she has also performed two solo cabaret shows - High Heels and Low Notes, and Broadway Life Hacks - at New York City's legendary Feinstein's/54 Below, a cabaret space in the basement of the famed Studio 54.

In 2016, Delighted formed a relationship with Act II Stages in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, performing her live singing one-woman shows annually in residency in their Red Room Cabaret.

MORE ABOUT GIGI MONROE

Gigi Monroe began her drag journey in the hotbed of female impersonation, Atlanta, GA. Following in the heelprints of such legendary southern drag queens as Charlie Brown, Lady Bunny and Ru Paul, Gigi made her way into the world in 2004. Winning Charlie Brown's Drag Idol contest in 2005 gave her the opportunity to burst onto the scene, ready to shake things up and usher in a new generation of drag. Committed to the illusion of female impersonation and taking the time to learn every aspect of drag - from costuming to music editing - Gigi had much success in the local Atlanta drag scene. Touring to every southern town that had a gay bar, a restaurant, a dry cleaner...anywhere that would host a show, Gigi was there. From pageants to hosting trivia to entertaining at circuit parties, she did it all!

In 2008, she got her first opportunity to enter a new world of drag - celebrity impersonation drag - and took a residency as an actor in the famed "Carnival Cabaret" show in Lake Tahoe's Horizon Casino. It was there she was taught the art of using makeup to transform into a celebrity. First up - Liza Minnelli. Through studying every aspect of Liza, Gigi found a new niche and would eventually become one of the nation's leading Liza Minnelli impersonators, featured on HGTV's "Dina's Party". Hungry for more characters to try, Gigi took on Dolly Parton, Lady Gaga, Cher, Madonna, and Reba McEntire, landing her another position on the cast of Greg Thompson's "Jewel Box Revue" at the Seven Feathers Casino in Southern Oregon. Over five seasons with JBR, Gigi continued to hone the art of portraying multiple characters in one show. "Quick-change" was Gigi's M.O. and in between seasons in Oregon, she traveled the country with her specialized act of bringing multiple popular celebrities to life on stage.

In 2010, Gig took residency in Richmond, Virginia and became the temporary Assistant Showcast Director at Godfrey's - Richmond's premier venue for drag entertainment. A regular guest for many years, Gigi transitioned into the role of director for the popular Wednesday Hump Night show and performed several times a week over the course of 5 months, until a permanent replacement could be found. Gigi fell in love with the Richmond community and they did with her!

Gigi joined the "who's who" of resident drag entertainers in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in 2017, with the launch of two scripted shows - "Legends, Stars and Divas" and "DIVARIETY" with Delighted Tobehere. Combining celebrity impersonation, comedy and live singing, these theatrical revues have served as a tremendous creative outlet and challenge.

With the launch of her drag wig-styling business, Gigi Monroe Designs in 2013, Gigi is busier than ever. Now based in Juneau, Alaska, Gigi enjoys traveling to the lower 48 and beyond to perform, but is also focused on fostering a community of drag artists and fans at home. A true showgirl at heart, Gigi is always ready to put on show, make people feel embraced and hopefully, change a mind or two.
