David Burtka & RJ Helton Join Scott Alan At Birdland 4/12

David Burtka (Gypsy) and RJ Helton (First season American Idol finalist) will round out the performers joining composer Scott Alan for his all male concert at Birdland on Monday, April 12 at 7pm

Joining Burtka and Helton will be previously announced performers Darius de Haas (Rent), Bobby Steggert (Ragtime), Josh Lamon (Hair), Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music), Nicholas Rodriguez ("Tarzan"), Grasan Kingsberry (Finian's Rainbow), Matt Doyle (Bye Bye Birdie), Michael Seelbach (Wicked), Jay A. Johnson (Hair), The Broadway Boys and Brandon Webman. Alan will accompany the performers at the piano, and also perform some of his own material.
Among the songs fans can expect to hear are selections from Alan's recordings "Dreaming Wide Awake" and "Keys" as well as songs from his upcoming recording, ‘"What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up."

RJ HELTON - A native of Cumming's GA, RJ Helton was thrust into the TV and music stardom via the breakout hit TV series American Idol, where he quickly rose to fame with his captivating per- formance as a Top 5 Finalist in the first season. RJ was one of the featured performers on the American Idol cast album which went Gold and reached #1 status on the Billboard charts. He also participated in the national radio and media promotional tour which became a nationwide phenomenon.
