ALLISON CASE AND ANDREW KOBER, November 24 at 9:30PM:

Having recently celebrated their 30th birthdays, Case and Kobes-two talented friends and happy hippies-have created a show to capture and celebrate life at this moment. The set list features a mix of musical theatre and pop/rock, covering artists from Ray Charles to Sara Bareilles, and offers an honest reflection of Allison and Andrew's excitement and fear as they face "adult things." You know, those things that take you by surprise, like realizing that all of your friends are getting married and having babies; or that you'll officially never be cast in Spring Awakening; or that you'd prefer to wake up without a hangover and listen to NPR on Sunday morning. (You too?!) They/we/THIS IS 30. Join Case and Kobes for an evening of incredible music, a bit of silliness, and a lot of heart. Allison Case and Andrew Kober met onstage in Hair at The Public's Delacorte Theater, and while they were with the production in London they became "Case and Kobes" hosting a radio show for SiriusXM On Broadway. Andrew can currently be seen in the Broadway revival of LES MISERABLES, and Allison appeared this spring in the new musical Fly by Night at Playwrights Horizons. Between them, Allison and Andrew have performed in countless concerts, readings and workshops all over the city, and they are thrilled to be bringing THIS IS 30 to 54 Below after having debuted the piece at The Cutting Room in April. $25-35 cover charge. $25 food & beverage minimum. $55 premium seating.

DAVID BURTKA, November 25 & 26 at 9:30PM:

David Burtka earned raves for his work in New York theater in both plays and musicals, including the role of Tulsa in the 2003 Broadway revival of Gypsy - but the call of the West Coast pulled him away for nearly a decade. Back and back for good, David is ready to leave a new impression on the New York scene! Director Neil Patrick Harris has taken the conventional cabaret structure and turned it upside down, creating a show unlike anything that has been seen before. Add the musical direction of Seth Rudetsky and you're in for something special. Funny yet emotional, energetic yet raw - Burtka, David will be a night to remember at 54 Below. $60-70 cover charge for 11/25. $50-60 cover charge for 11/26. $25 food & beverage minimum. $90-100 for premium seating.

ANTHONY NUNZIATA, November 28 at 9:30PM:

Recording artist, singer and entertainer Anthony Nunziata makes his solo concert debut at 54 below. Backed by a three-piece swinging band, led by musical director and arranger Tedd Firth, Anthony brings his charming personality and golden tenor voice to definitive interpretations of classic songs. Anthony performs an eclectic collection of songs from the stage and screen to jazz and pop including "Somewhere," "The Way You Look Tonight," "O Sole Mio," "Just the Way You Are," and "Come Rain or Come Shine." "Blessed with a strong voice and leading man looks" - The Wall Street Journal. $30-40 cover charge. $25 food & beverage minimum. $65 for premium seating.

FRANK SHINER, November 29 at 9:30PM:

The career path Frank Shiner originally envisioned took an unexpected detour. Starting out as a singer and actor, he appeared in more than 60 theater and television roles (at the time appearing using his middle name Matthew). To make ends meet he was also the bottle-flipping bartender at the legendary nightspot Visage who Tom Cruise came to see while preparing for his role in Cocktail. Eventually, Shiner made the difficult decision to put his career on hold to raise his family. Fast-forward to today and his triumphant encore from his sold-out show earlier this summer at 54 Below. Prompted by his wife's bout with breast cancer and at her urging, Shiner took the stage at a local venue for the first time in years and suddenly the feelings and the desire to perform came rushing back, resulting in one helluva comeback. A meeting with some music industry heavyweights resulted in The Real Me, Frank Shiner's aptly titled show and critically acclaimed new album which was just named BEST CD: Male by the LA Music Critics, with his Top 5 hit "Feels Like Home," written by Randy Newman, winning Best Single. His new 54 Below show takes hidden gems from famous songwriters and showcases them in their proper light. From the "deliciously jazzy" simplicity of Elvis Costello's "Almost Blue," to the "cool, sexy" rhythms of his new single, Tom Waits' "Temptation, to the virtually unknown Doc Pomus and Dr. John song "A World I Never Made," to Jimmy Webb's sinfully good "It's A Sin When You Love Somebody," to a couple of standouts from Paul Simon's One Trick Pony Soundtrack, "Long Long Day," and "Nobody," this is the modern American Songbook at its finest, performed by a vocalist who captures the essence and mood of each song beautifully. Get ready for a night of great music and memorable stories with an equal mix of laughter and tears. $30-40 cover charge. $25 food & beverage minimum. $60-65 for premium seating.

BADIA FARHA, November 29 at 11:30PM:

Joined by a six-piece band and special guest Joe Iconis, Badia Farha (aka Lady Rose) brings her original songs and "R&B/Soul +" style to 54 Below. Lady Sings For You features original songs from Badia's solo album Still Waiting? and newly released radio hit Don't Know, as well as a tribute to Carmen McCrae and Aretha Franklin, and a bit of bossa nova jazz. As an NYC-based singer, songwriter, and actress, Badia has been seen off-Broadway in Sistas: The Musical and Joe Iconis' Things to Ruin, at A Tribute to Alan Menken at Lincoln Center, as well as in the national and international tours of Little Shop of Horrors and RENT. Badia was also a back up singer for America's Got Talent. www.badiafarha.com. $20 cover charge. $20 food & beverage minimum or two drinks. $50 for premium seating.
