FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Daniel Abrahamson in First Date; The Songs of Daniel Abrahamson on March 17, 9:30pm. Daniel is an exciting emerging contemporary musical theatre composer who's been creating hit independent musicals in Canada for 15 years, making his New York debut in an intimate evening of his songs, stories, and talented friends.

He is joined by Broadway Canadians Jake Epstein (Beautiful, Spring Awakening, Spider-Man), Petrina Bromley and Astrid Van Wieren (Come From Away), Mary Antonini (The Prom, Jesus Christ Superstar), Julia McLellan (Kinky Boots), Graham Scott Fleming (Miss Saigon) Kira Guloien (Dr. Zhivago) and newcomers Blair Irwin, Leah Oster, Jordan Bell, and Teresa Tucci.

Matthew Lowy music directs; Nat'l Tours: A Chorus Line (U.S., Japan, Shanghai, Music Director/Orchestrations), 42nd Street (Music Director), My Fair Lady (China; Asst. Music Director), Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (Keyboard 1). New York: Fallen Skies (Composer, NYC Int'l Fringe Festival, Overall Excellence Award in music composition winner). Daniel Abrahamson in First Date plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on March 17, 9:30pm 2019. There is a $30-$60 cover charge and $30 food and beverage minimum. Daniel is currently working with Michael Rubinoff and the Canadian Musical Theatre Project (home of "Come From Away") on the new musical "Stars of Mars", and is attending the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop in New York. His musical "Funny Business" ran for 125 performances in downtown Toronto and is published by Samuel French New York. His musicals "Act Now", "Hugh and I", and "Girl's End", and "Foreign Tongue" were all sold out hits at Toronto, Winnipeg, and Edmonton Fringe Festivals, and he's been commissioned and supported by the Musical Stage Company, The Charlottetown Festival, Sheridan College, and Ryerson Theatre School.
