Crooner David Giuntoli Returns To Don't Tell Mama with Encore Performance of WE'VE GOT A WORLD THAT SWINGS Image

St. Louis-based singer, David Giuntoli, is coming back in the Big Apple to croon those ageless tunes made famous by the icons of the Rat Pack and beyond. Giuntoli appears on Friday, December 14 at 7 PM at Don't Tell Mama, reprising his September 2018 sold-out turn there with We've Got a World That Swings. Music Director is jazz pianist Matt Baker. Adam Kabak is on bass.

Giuntoli, a singer in the style of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Michael Buble, grew up with the sounds of swingin' singers like Sinatra, Dean Martin, Mel Tormé, Tom Jones and Sammy Davis Jr. He's also been influenced by modern crooners such as Buble, Michael Feinstein and Tony DeSare. We've Got a World That Swings features the great tunes of the American Songbook, such as I've Got the World on a String, The Best is Yet to Come, In Other Words and more.

Like many performers, Giuntoli had a "day job" while raising a family in the St. Louis area. He'd been a business executive for most of his career before retiring to pursue show business full time. He studied voice for 10 years at the Clayton Studio of Music with the well-known voice coach, Christine Chase-Chittison. Giuntoli has recorded two CDs and has performed on some the world's most famous ocean liners including the QE2, Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria. When in New York City he's been seen at "Jim Caruso's Cast Party" at Birdland. He's also recently been a member of the St. Louis Cabaret Conference and Festival for several years, studying with vocalists Marilyn Maye, Ann Hampton Callaway, Peisha McPhee and Faith Prince, and with musicians Billy Stritch, Tedd Firth and Alex Rybeck. Giuntoli is currently President of the Board of the Cabaret Project of St. Louis.

We've Got a World That Swings, Friday, December 14 at 7 PM at Don't Tell Mama (343 W. 46th St., NYC). Cover charge is $20 with a two-drink minimum (cash only). Reservations at www.donttellmamanyc.com or call 212-757-0788 after 4PM.
