Constantine Maroulis Joins BROADWAY UP, GUNS DOWN Benefit Tonight

"Broadway Up, Guns Down" is charity benefit concert in response to the tragic mass shooting that occurred at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Tonight, June 27th, at 8pm, Broadway artists will unite to uplift through song honoring the beautiful lives lost. All funds raised will go directly to the Zebra Coalition in Orlando, FL. A LGTBQ youth based non-for-profit currently offering assistance in Orlando.

The evening at Le Poisson Rogue will be hosted by Michelle Collins of "The View" and will feature Tony Award Winner Jessie Mueller (Waitress), Constantine Maroulis (Jekyll & Hyde), Keala Settle (Hands on a Hardbody), Stephanie Torns (Waitress), Orfeh (Legally Blonde), Christine Dwyer (Wicked) , Jamarice Daughtry (The Color Purple), Jessica Vosk (Fiddler on the Roof), Jenni Barber (Annie), Paul Alexander Nolan (Bright Star), Katie Thompson (Giant), Danny Quadrino (Newsies), Phyre Hawkins (The Book of Mormon), Samantha Marie Ware (Glee), Matt DeAngelis (Hair), Charity Dawson (Waitress), Timothy Ware (Kinky Boots), Antoine Smith (The Color Purple), Tim Ehrlich (Rent) , Sara King (Hair), Julia Knitel (Beautiful), Ben Jacoby (Beautiful), Michael McCorry Rose (Gentleman's Guide) Brandon Ellis (Once) Nyssa Duchow (Once) Erikka Walsh (Once) John Steven Gardner (Once)and Vishal Vaidya. Also Orlando native and composer: Alexander Sage Oyen.

With musical direction by Ted Arthur, Jakob Reinhardt on guitar, Aiden Moore on bass and Jon Epacar on drums, the evening is produced by Broadway actors Douglas Lyons (The Book of Mormon) and Matt DeAngelis. In addition to the concert there will also be an auction of specialized Broadway collector's items. Tickets are $25 for seating and $20 for standing. This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before."- Leonard Bernstein
