City Hall Restaurant and MJS LIVE, Inc. announce "A Brand New Year Me!", A New Year's Eve celebration with Tony & Emmy Award Winner Lillias White at the exciting new "old time" venue The Granite Room - ‘Neath the Sidewalks of New York. This special New Years Eve celebration is scheduled for two shows at 8:30 PM and 11:30 PM. Accompanying Ms. White is the masterful pianist Miles Dalto.

Currently starring in the thrilling new musical Fela! on Broadway, the multi-talenTed White, recipient of Tony, Emmy, Obie, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards will perform a very special New Year's Eve celebration of her favorite songs of love, reflection and self satisfaction. "You have to love who you are", says White "And embrace the things you can't change ".

Lillias White is the recent recipient of a 2009 Best Actress LA Ovation Award nomination for her performance in Cy Coleman's The Best is Yet to Come. Ms. White debuted on Broadway in Barnum in 1981 and has since appeared in the original and 1987 revival productions of Dreamgirls, Cats, Rock'N'Roll! The First 5000 Years, Carrie, and Chicago. Her tour-de-force performance in Cy Coleman's The Life was honored with the 1997 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

White's television appearances include a regular role on Sesame Street (Emmy Award), Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and NYPD Blue. Her film credits include How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Game 6, Pieces of April and Then She Found Me.

Built as a Hall for all New Yorkers, City Hall Restaurant has the sophistication and style to captivate all who pass through her doors. Housed in an 1863 cast iron landmark building, this TriBeCa Grande Dame has served New York cuisine with elegance and charm for more than a decade.

City Hall Restaurant is the classic New York Steak & Fish restaurant. The Granite Room is the premier private dining venue in lower Manhattan . Among many prestigious culinary and civic honors, City Hall Restaurant is the recipient of the 2008 Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Restaurant & Hospitality Award and winner of the Wine Spectator "Best of Award of Excellence" for 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

City Hall Restaurant and The Granite Room at 131 Duane Street is located in the heart of TriBeCa. With the revitalization of downtown along a rapid residential growth, Chef/Proprietor Henry Meer debuted City Hall Restaurant and its Granite Room in 1998. Tickets for the 8:30pm show are $150 per person plus a $30 drink minimum and $250 per person plus a $30 drink minimum for the 11:30pm show. The 11:30pm show includes a champagne toast. Pre-show a la carte dining is available in the main dining room of City Hall Restaurant.
