On the heels of a successful run of their first cabaret act, Look Who's in Love, distinguished entertainers Christine Reisner-Rebic (an international cabaret chanteuse and dancer) and Don Rebic (Broadway and cabaret musical director, jazz pianist and composer) took their cabaret act into the recording studio. "Lucky in Love" features timeless standards as well as four songs of their own: "You're Making Me Nervous," "Two Heads Are Better Than One," "Leap of Faith" and the title track, "Lucky in Love."
Age is only a number for this couple who met through cabaret and married in Fredonia, Rebic's hometown, nearly three years ago. Together they celebrate the possibility of finding love later in life through a partnership inspired by music of the Great American Songbook. Rebic, well known as an accomplished pianist, steps into the spotlight as a singer in jazzy arrangements with his wife, who also plays violin.
Although the live performance will include songs on the CD from Look Who's in Love, it will feature new material and a tribute to arranger Hubert "Tex" Arnold, with Jon Burr on bass.

He has conducted for the national companies of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Kiss of the Spider Woman, starring Chita Rivera.
As an in-demand accompanist and musical director, Don has worked with such luminaries as Peggy Lee, Kiri Te Kanawa, Barbara Cook, Laura Theodore, Betty Buckley, Dixie Carter, Morgana King, Lainie Kazan, Mary Cleere Haran, Margaret Whiting, Regis Philbin, Tovah Feldshuh, Christine Andreas, Christine Ebersole, Victoria Clark, Julius la Rosa, Ricky Martin, and José Carreras. According to Stephen Holden, jazz and cabaret writer for The New York Times, "Whether paying tribute to Ramsey Lewis, quoting Duke Ellington, slipping into Broadway or classical modes, or taking a jaunt to Brazil, Don Rebic and his trio display the balance and clarity of a deeply musical ensemble. And his original compositions sparkle with a frisky melodic charm." Don's music has appeared in HBO documentaries and the feature film Night Catches Us starring Kerry Washington. He served for six years as an adjunct music professor at the State University of New York in Fredonia. For more info about Don, please visit www.donrebic.com. Christine Reisner-Rebic, a native of Tenafly, grew up in musical theater as the niece of Broadway composer Albert Hague (Plain and Fancy, Tony Award winner for Redhead, Professor Shorofsky in FAME) and his wife, Renée Orin Hague, also a Broadway veteran. After graduating from high school, she made her professional dance debut at Le Palais du Sport in Paris and went on to work with such notables as Leonide Massine, Rosella Hightower, Luigi and Alwin Nikolais-with whom she toured internationally for four years. A gifted singer, she was the star of La Nouvelle Eve cabaret in Paris among other headlining engagements in France. She has appeared in off-Broadway musicals, industrial shows and as a guest artist-soloist with the New York City-based dance company Sensedance for five seasons.
Christine has taught dance in France, at Trinity High School in Manhattan, Mount Holyoke College with the Briansky Ballet summer program, and from 2003 to 2010 at Art of Motion in Ridgewood, NJ.
In 2009 her first CD, "Beginner's Luck," received a rave review by Fanfare magazine and airplay around the country and by Jonathan Schwartz on WNYC FM. Her second album, "Songs of Albert Hague," (2012) included two songs Hague wrote with Theodore Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss) for the holiday classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
She performed two cabaret shows with musical director Tex Arnold, "Songs of Albert Hague" and "Unearthing Treasures," in 2010 and 2011 at the Metropolitan Room in New York City.
