Broadway legend, Christine Andreas, will perform at Kupferberg Center for the Arts in an intimate evening of romantic songs and stories in Love is Good. Accompanied by her husband, Martin Silvestri, at the piano, the duo will star in a very special Valentine's Day concert at Lefrak Concert Hall on Friday, February 14th at 8:00 pm as part of the Kupferberg Presents 2013/2014 season. The celebrated singer, whose career spans more than 30 years and many award-winning theater roles, first rose to stardom with her portrayal of Eliza Doolittle in the 20th anniversary production of My Fair Lady. She was nominated for two Tony Awards for her roles in Oklahoma! andOn Your Toes and a Barrymore Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Vera Simpson in the Prince Music Theater's production of Rodgers and Hart's Pal Joey. A three-week engagement of her one-woman show, Here's To The Ladies, completely sold out.
The celebrated soprano has displayed her formidable talents not only here but also across the pond when she made her West End debut starring inThe Fields of Ambrosia at the Aldwych Theater in London. She followed this with concerts in Paris, Rome, Australia, and a command performance at The White House, which she marks as one of the highlights of her storied career.

Carnegie Hall, and 54 Below.
