Chris Barrett will play in concert Upstairs at San Martin, 143 E. 49 Street, New York, NY, beginning Saturday, September 22 and continuing every Saturday through 2012 at 8pm and 10:30pm. $10 music charge. For reservations, call 212.832.0888.

Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. Come celebrate the new night life with Barrett each month!

Upstairs at San Martin offers Italian cuisine and a gourmet wine cellar. Dinner is available during both shows, including the special after theater supper show at 10:30pm. The kitchen is open until 11:30pm. Following Barrett's successful week-long run at the San Martin in July 2012, he is proud to return for this special set of Saturday evenings over the rest of the year.

Chris Barrett has been performing throughout the U.S. and in Europe since 1973. His career highlights in New York City include repeat engagements at New York's Stanhope, Carlyle, Pierre, U.N. Plaza, and Westbury Hotels. Among his engagements throughout the U.S. are the Hotel Bel-Air, Los Angeles; the Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C.; and the John Drew Theater, East Hampton, N.Y. In Europe, he has enjoyed repeated bookings at the Hotel Cipriani, Venice; the Berkeley Hotel, London; and the Hotel Poseidon, Positano, Italy.

Barrett has appeared in cabaret in New York City at The Metropolitan Room, Don't Tell Mama, Helen's Hideaway Room, Danny's Skylight Room, Judy's Chelsea, L'Omnibus d' Maxims; The Reprise Room at Dillon's and the famed FireBird Cafe. Othercabaret appearances include: Odette's, New Hope, PA and The Metropolitan Club, Washington, DC.

In other major concerts, Barrett's performance was featured at The Bruno Walter Auditorium at New York's Lincoln Center. He made his symphonic debut as guest artist performing a Noel Coward program with The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. He has had invitational performances at The Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC and Steinway Hall, New York City. He has performed in concert aboard the QEII and at a private engagement for HRH Prince Philip and with an American cities tour for The Baron Philippe and Philipine de Rothschild.

Chris Barrett is also the recipient of the Back Stage Bistro Award for best singer/instrumentalist.
