Producer Scott Siegel announced this morning that tickets will be go on sale today at noon via TicketMaster for the 9th Annual BROADWAY UNPLUGGED concert in which today's Broadway stars sing like the stars of yesteryear: without microphones! Unplugged! In this age of head-splitting, over-amplifcation the sound of the pure human voice soaring through the orchestra and then sailing up into the balcony of an acoustically pure concert hall is to hear Broadway show music at its most thrilling. This year's cast is headed by two of Broadway's most in-demand stars, Cheyenne Jackson and Laura Osnes. They will lead a cast of upwards of twenty sensational singing stars on Monday, December 3rd at 8 PM at The Town Hall.
Cheyenne Jackson is currently starring on Broadway in The Performers. Among his many other Broadway starring roles, All Shook Up, Finian's Rainbow, and Xanadu.
Laura Osnes is about to star later this season on Broadway in the title role of Cinderella. Among her other Broadway starring roles, Grease, Anything Goes, and Bonnie and Clyde.
During the past eight years, Broadway Unplugged has featured the talents of such stars as Marc Kudisch, Patrick Page, Emily Skinner, James Barbour, Norm Lewis, Julia Murney, Beth Leavel, Stephanie J. Block, Michael Cerveris, Chuck Cooper, Euan Morton, Barbara Walsh, Mary Testa, Nancy Anderson, William Michals, Bill Daugherty, Jeffry Denman, Noah Racey, Andrea McCardle, Max von Essen, Sarah Uriarte Berry, Terri White, and legions of other big voiced, great talents. Many of these same stars will return, and many new stars will be added. Look for future announcements.
Tickets are exactly the same price as they have been every year since the first Broadway Unplugged:

Rear Balcony: $25
