Carolines On Broadway Offers Special Valentines Day Weekend

Carolines on Broadway, "America's Premier Comedy Nightclub," has a very special treat for comedy lovers for Valentine's Day Weekend, highlighted by the hilarious Marlon and Shawn Wayans, headlining Thursday, February 10 - Sunday, February 13; the legendary Paul Mooney headlining late night shows on February 11 and 12; and two "My Funny Valentine" shows on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1626 Broadway (between 49th and 50th Streets), in Times Square.

Members of comedy's First Family, Marlon and Shawn Wayans got their start on FOX TV's "In Living Color," the groundbreaking sketch comedy series created and produced by their older bothers Damon and Keenan Ivory Wayans. In addition to "In Living Color," Marlon and Shawn also starred in the WB's long-running and popular sitcom "The Wayans Bros." Marlon and Shawn also hit pay dirt on the silver screen, as well, starring in the comedy blockbusters "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka," "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in The Hood," "Scary Movie," "Scary Movie 2," "White Chicks," "Little Man" and "Dance Flick." Now, this dynamic duo of comedy returns home to New York City and Carolines on Broadway for a hilarious weekend of stand-up.

Friday, February 11 at 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. / $48.50 per person

Sunday, February 13 at 7:3 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. / $48.50 per person

One of comedy's living legends, Paul Mooney, is best known for his work with Richard Pryor and on such landmark shows as "Saturday Night Live" and "In Living Color," Mooney has appeared on Comedy Central's "Chappelle's Show" as his signature character, "Negrodamus" and in the popular segment "Ask a Black Dude." Additionally, Mooney has two Showtime specials, "Jesus Was Black" and "Paul Mooney: It's The End of the World," and has appeared in films including "The Buddy Holly Story," "In the Army Now," and in Spike Lee's critically acclaimed "Bamboozled." He is also an author, having recently written his first book, "Black Is the New White."

For Valentine's Day, Carolines on Broadway has two very special "My Funny Valentine" shows featuring a hilarious line-up of the country's best comedians, including Vince August, Nate Bargatze, Leah Bonnema, Harrison Greenbaum, Joe Machi, James Smith, and Mike Vecchione.

Monday, February 14, at 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. / $24.50 per person
