On April 12th, 2015, Tony Nominee Michael McElroy (Rent, Big River), Broadway's Caissie Levy (Ghost, Les Miserables), Derek Klena (Dogfight, Wicked), and Eden Espinosa (RENT, Wicked) will perform in Raise Your Voice: A Cabaret For A Cure, a benefit concert to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Conceived and directed by Rob Morean, a Sophomore at Tisch School of the Arts in the Department of Drama's New Studio on Broadway, and inspired by his recent battle and win against Hodgkin's Lymphoma, all proceeds from the cabaret will be donated directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The evening will be hosted by Rob Morean and Zuzanna Szadkowski (Gossip Girl), and will also feature solos from Adrienne Eller, Monet Sabel, Adee David, Sojourner Brown, Kylie Cipolla, Brooke Wetterhahn, Kelly Plescia, Alexys Hewitt, Allie Sandler, Mia Gerachis, Veronica Thompson, Colin Parinello, Jessica Golden, and more.
The event, directed by Rob Morean and produced by him, Amanda Pinto, and Jake Nathanson, will feature musical direction by Nick Berke and choreography by Josh Zacher. Raise Your Voice: A Cabaret for a Cure will be held in the Eisner and Lubin Auditorium at The Kimmel Center at 60 Washington Square South, New York, NY 10010. Doors open at 7:30 PM, performance begins at 8:00 PM.
