The Laurie Beechman Theatre has announced their lineup of cabaret and comedy events for the months of May and June 2014. Check out all the dates and details below!

An ongoing production will be DISTORTED DIZNEE. Now in its 2nd year, the long-running cult hit continues. Come be Part of Our World as a troupe of fabulous drag queens (including Brenda Dharling, Holly Dae, Bootsie LeFaris & Pixie Aventura) present their twisted, very adult journey to the Magical Kingdom. This 70-minute extravaganza features high-energy dance numbers, comedy, dazzling costumes and lip-syncing "ladies" -- with a bit of Tina Turner, Lindsay Lohan, Cher, Celine Dion, Idina Menzel and Rihanna in the mix too! Distorted Diznee will play select Fridays -- including May 2, 16 and 30 -- at 10pm. Tickets are $20.

Fridays through May 30, THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND will play at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. In this hit unauthorized musical parody, four women over 60 are spending their golden years together in a wicker-filled bungalow in Miami. But when gay pop superstar Ricky Martin moves next door, his loud parties keep the quartet of cheesecake-loving retirees awake. The solution pits the gays against the girls at the annual Shady Oaks Retirement Home Talent Show. The show will run Fridays April 25, May 9, and 23 at 10pm; and May 16 amd 30 at 7pm. Tickets are $20.

From May 8 - 11, the Laurie Beechman Theatre presents JINKX MONSOON: THE INEVITABLE CONCERT.
Jinkx Monsoon returns! This time, the RuPaul's Drag Race winner appears live with her band, premiering songs from her upcoming CD The Inevitable Album. The CD will be released the week of the show and will available to buy at the theatre. Tickets are $25 (+ $15 food/drink minimum -- full dinner menu and bar available) at 212-352-3101. VIP Tickets for $50, which include preferred seating and a post-show meet-and-greet are also available.

May 21 - 23 will feature BENDELACREME: TERMINALLY DELIGHTFUL at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. She's the first queen on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6 to win two challenges. Now she comes to NYC to win your heart and funny bone. Come see TERMINALLY DELIGHTFUL, an intimate evening of story, song and BenDeLaCreme's signature high camp hijinks as she peels away the outer layers of artifice to reveal the artifice within. Showtimes are May 21 and 22 at 9pm; and May 23 at 7pm. Tickets are $22. VIP tickets for $40, which include preferred seating and a post-show meet-and-greet, are also available.

On May 24 and 25, come see JACKIE BEAT in IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING! Terrifyingly talented drag star JACKIE BEAT (Hello Ross on E!) returns to the #1 terrorist target in the nation to detonate an explosive evening of song parodies. She is hard at work on new material, aiming a barrage of f-bombs squarely at iconic pop tunes and other musical crimes against humanity. It will be a blast! The show will have 4 performances ONLY -- May 24 and 25 at 7:30pm and 10pm. Tickets are $22.

On May 27 and 28, come see MAJOR SCALES' MINOR BREAKDOWN. The co-writer and co-creator of The Vaudevillians with Jinkx Monsoon returns to New York to premiere his latest creation, an evening of the prolific composer's original songs for his original Broadway shows that have yet to be written. The always-debonair Major Scales will be there to lead you through his ditties, divorced from plot, with a half-smile and half-full Manhattan. Be one of the first to hear these never-before-staged songs in search of a musical! Showtime is at 7pm. Tickets are $20.

On May 27 and 28, see COURTNEY ACT in BOYS LIKE ME. Not only is she gorgeous, but this jaw-droppingly talented drag sensation has opened for Lady Gaga (and appeared in her Applause lyric video), starred in Rent and sung a duet with Idina Menzel. Now Australian Idol finalist and RuPaul's Drag Race favorite Courtney Act returns to NYC. This tune-filled, hysterical, and slightly raunchy performance showcases Courtney's sharp observations of living life in drag. Come find out what happens when boys like her. Showtime is at 9:30pm. Tickets are $22. VIP tickets for $40, which include preferred seating & a post-show meet-and-greet, are also available.

From June 6 - 8, see ALASKA in STEVIE FOREVER. RuPaul's Drag Race favorite and cosmic starlet of stage and screen ALASKA invites you to join her as she channels the grand high priestess of rock herself- STEVIE NICKS. Alaska will be joined by her stalwart companion and pianist Handsome Jeremy who becomes Stevie's on-again-off-again love and lifetime musical partner Lindsay Buckingham. Together they retell and relive Stevie's history as a rock goddess and all-around badass witch. Showtimes are June 6 at 8:30pm; and June 7 and 8 at 7pm. Tickets are $22. VIP tickets for $40, which include preferred seating & a post-show meet-and-greet, are also available.

On June 13 and 14, the Laurie Beechman Theatre presents CONFESSIONS OF A PRAIRIE BITCH - NELLIE OLESON LIVE. Best known as acid-tongued, pre-Midol meanie Nellie Oleson from Little House on the Prairie, AIDS and gay rights activist Alison Arngrim presents an uproarious evening of storytelling, stand-up, and multi media about life as everyone's favorite toxic pre-teen brat. Showtime is 7:30pm. Tickets are $22.

On June 23 and 24, enjoy THE BEST OF DINA MARTINA. Cult sensation DINA MARTINA returns to New York with another nearly indescribable night of unique entertainment that assaults the senses like no other show. Just in time for Gay Pride, Dina offers a delightful blend of her best unequalled songs, unnecessary dances, unattractive costumes, and unbelievable videos. Showtimes are June 23 and 24 at 7:30pm and 9:30pm. Tickets are $22.

The Laurie Beechman Theater is located inside West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street (at Ninth Avenue, accessible from the A,C,E,N,R,V,F,1,2,3 trains at 42nd Street).
