Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents The Rage: Carrie 2, An Unathorized Musical Parody in Concert tonight, October 28th at 11:30pm.
Based on the less popular sequel to the 1976 horror classic Carrie, The Rage: Carrie 2 follows Carrie White's half-sister, Rachel, as she, too, struggles to deal with a clinically insane mother, sadistic high school students, and her newfound telekinesis that's on the verge of destroying them all.
Featuring an original pop/rock score by Rebekah M. Allen (We Are The Tigers, Remission), direction by Michael Bello, music direction by Patrick Sulken, and a cast of Broadway favorites, there's never been a more outrageous way to celebrate Halloween, the 40th anniversary of the original Carrie's theatrical release, and the truly bizarre cultural phenomenon it inspired.
The evening will feature performances by Jenny Rose Baker, (Fiddler on the Roof), Lauren Nicole Chapman (Kinky Boots), Shakina Nayfack (Difficult People), Philip Jackson Smith (Mozart in the Jungle), and Tina Stafford (Once Nat'l Tour), with Luke Hoback, Jessica Kahkoska, Rachel King, and Thea Lammers. The evening will also feature special performances by notable Carrie the Musical alumni, including Molly Ranson (Fish In the Dark, Bad Jews), Jake Boyd (Wicked Nat'l Tour, Rock of Ages), and F. Michael Haynie (Peter Pan Live, Wicked).
