FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post will continue its Fall 2010 season with the debut Bryan Batt - two-time Screen Actors Guild Award winner and star of television's "Mad Men" - on October 3 and 4. Mr. Batt takes to the New York nightclub stage with "Batt On A Hot Tin Roof" in an evening of song and charismatic storytelling, weaving a hilarious and poignant tale of his "life experience" in the Big Apple and the Big Easy. From Cole Porter to Burt Bacharach, embracing classic Broadway and new composers, Batt creates a fun filled evening celebrating heart, hope, and home. Both shows take place at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).
Bryan Batt is a native New Orleanian actor, designer, fund-raiser, and civic activist in both New Orleans and New York. He plays Salvatore Romano on AMC's Emmy, Golden Globe, and Peabody Award-winning drama "Mad Men" and was recently featured as Spencer Cannon on the final episodes of "Ugly Betty." A Broadway veteran, Mr. Batt has also appeared on the Great White Way in productions of La Cage Aux Folles (Albin Standby), Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere) Suessical the Musical (The Cat in the Hat), Saturday Night Fever (Monty), The Scarlet Pimpernel, Sunset Boulevard, Joseph...Dreamcoat, Starlight Express and Cats. His off-Broadway credits include Jeffrey, Forbidden Broadway Cleans Up Its Act (LA Drama Logue Award) and I Love New York (1999 Drama Desk Nomination),
Mr. Batt, a civic activist, champions many causes including Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS, Habitat For Humanity, Second Harvest Food Bank, the Human Rights Campaign (Equality Award), the SPCA, The Preservation Resource Center, The Point Foundation, N.O. AIDS Task Force (board member, Humanitas Award), and Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre (board member and interim Artistic Director). His book She Ain't Heavy, She's My Mother: A Memoir hit stores nation-wide last Spring.
FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present Bryan Batt on October 3 and October 4 at 8:30 PM. Performances have a $40.00 cover with $60.00 premium seats in addition to a $25.00 food and beverage minimum.
