Broadway's Future Songbook Series - presented by Arts and Artists of Tomorrow - concludes its twenty-sixth season on Monday, May 22nd in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street. Produced, Directed and Hosted by John Znidarsic, the evening spotlights a special new work by the dynamic songwriter Joey Contreras. Show time is 6PM and admission is FREE.

The evening will be the premiere of In Pieces by Joey Contreras. With two popular albums under his belt, the newly developed song cycle threads Joey's musical theatre and pop catalog into a unique theatrical setting - exploring the universal search for clarity and empowerment through all different kinds of relationships in life. The evening will feature performances by Brad Greer, Melanie Brook, Tyler Jent, Stevi Incremona, Michael Williams and Mia Gerachis.

Joey Contreras is an award-winning musical pop songwriter from California. The release of his first album Love Me, Love Me Not featured an all-star lineup of Broadway talent and has gone on to enjoy international success throughout the US, Australia, London, South Korea, Germany and Japan. In 2014, his second and more pop-focused album, Young Kind of Love debuted immediately in the iTunes Pop Charts. The collection of songs had Out Magazine labeling Joey a "Broadway-pop crossover extraordinaire," as well as complimenting the "sexy and catchy" music videos that accompanied the singles, "Ohio" and "Love Wildly." His musicals with librettist-lyricist, Kate Thomas include "Ring Around" (O'Neill NMTC Finalist) and "Forget Me Not." Recently, Joey wrote the music and lyrics for the Disney Junior animated short "Kiwi's First Flight."
