Allison Case and Andrew Kober: This is 30
Where: 54 Below (254 W 54th Street)
When: November 24 at 9:30 PM
Tickets: $25-55 at http://54below.com/artist/allison-case-and-andrew-kober/
Having recently celebrated their 30th birthdays, Case and Kober-two talented friends and happy hippies-have created a show to capture and celebrate life at this moment. The set list features a mix of musical theatre and pop/rock, covering artists from Ray Charles to Sara Bareilles, and offers an honest reflection of Allison and Andrew's excitement and fear as they face "adult things." You know, those things that take you by surprise, like realizing that all of your friends are getting married and having babies; or that you'll officially never be cast in Spring Awakening; or that you'd prefer to wake up without a hangover and listen to NPR on Sunday morning. (You too?!) They/we/THIS IS 30. Join Case and Kober for an evening of incredible music, a bit of silliness, and a lot of heart.
Allison Case and Andrew Kober met onstage in Hair at The Public's Delacorte Theater, and while they were with the production in London they became "Case and Kobes" hosting a radio show for SiriusXM On Broadway. Andrew can currently be seen in the Broadway revival of LES MISERABLES, and Allison appeared this spring in the new musical Fly by Night at Playwrights Horizons. Between them, Allison and Andrew have performed in countless concerts, readings and workshops all over the city, and they are thrilled to be bringing THIS IS 30 to 54 Below after having debuted the piece at The Cutting Room in April.
