Broadway Sessions Welcomes Nadia Quinn, Joey Contreras, & More 3/24

Broadway Sessions is thrilled to welcome Nadia Quinn's Summer and Eve, Drew Gasparini, Joey Contreras, Marty Thomas' Divas and Creighton Fraker on Thursday, March 24th.

Summer and Eve is described as "a folky-music comedy band". It is fronted by Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson's Nadia Quinn and features Emily Traver, Aaron Quinn, Patrick Blindauer and Rebecca Kaasa.

Marty Thomas has appeared on Broadway in Wicked, Xanadu and The Secret Garden. He is currently starring in the Off-Broadway hit "My Big Gay Italian Wedding". Thomas recently debuted his new show "DIVA" at Industry bar, featuring Anne Fraser Thomas, Kelly King and Kat Hennessey. All three women will be on hand to perform Thursday night.

Drew Gasparini is a popular singer/songwriter and musical theater composer. On hand to perform Gasparini's work will be Hair's Andrew Kober and Grease's Laura D'Andre.

Composer Joey Contreras will present "This Thing Called Love", a concert presentation of his compositions, at Joe's Pub on March 27. Spring Awakening stars Gabe Violett and Morgan Karr will join Contreras on stage.

Creighton Fraker is a singer/songwriter best known for winning the popular vocal competition Stonewall Sensation.

Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games, comedy and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. It is hosted by Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) and features compsoser/musical director Will Van Dyke (The Addams Family) on piano. The show takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater (163 west 46th street, inside the HA! Comedy Club). Doors open at 10:30 pm, with showtime at 11 pm and open mic going til 2 am. There is no cover charge. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
