The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) presents its All Stars Benefit, "Broadway To Africa To Fight Poverty," hosted by Broadway's Bradley Gibson (Simba in the Lion King) on Monday, October 29th at 7:00pm (doors open at 6:00pm).
The evening will be kicked off by a stellar lineup of Broadway pros, followed by selected artists at the legendary Laurie Beechman Theatre. One artists will be crowned the "Future of Broadway" by a NYC Casting Director. All funds will benefit the Broadway to Africa to Fight Poverty project as part of BAC's theatre initiative. Members recently launched the inaugural production of The Wiz in Liberia this summer with youth from the Matsiko World Orphan Choir.
Performers and audience will be treated to an up close view of artists newest works, make invaluable industry connections, support our community of artists & see some highlight videos from our trip to Liberia.
Broadway artists performing include: Charlie Marcus (A BRONX TALE, PETER PAN); Lawrence Merritt (PIPPIN, ON THE TOWN, APPLAUSE, DEAR WORLD, GOLDEN RAINBOW, NO WHERE TO GO BUT UP, NO STRINGS); Amy Dolan-Fletcher (42nd STREET, GREASE); Veronica Kuehn (MAMMA MIA); Lucia Giannetta (BRONX TALE, LES MISERABLES, LEAP OF FAITH); Bradley Gibson - HOST (THE LION KING, A BRONX TALE, ROCKY); Musical Direction by Michael Lavine.
Performers include Grace Gramins, Max Bartos, Emma Ragen, Charly Danis, Eric McKinley, Emily Michelle, Emma Green, and Christine Fissora.
