Broadway And Recording Artists Perform Tribute Show For Ed Sheeran Image

Producer Peter Dunn (So You Think You Can Belt, TRL: Total Request Live, Rise Up, GAYS: The Series) is teaming up with Samantha Rhea Parrish to produce a tribute show for music superstar, Ed SHeeran on Saturday June 9th at 10PM at The West End Lounge. The night is entitled Sheer Ed 2.0 and will be presented with a live band, phenomenal vocalists, and Ed's catalogue of music from new arrangements, to sizzling mashups, to emotional performances of his music. It will be a night of music, stories, heart and soul.

"We first produced Sheer Ed this time last year, and it was without a doubt, the best show I've been a part of or produced. Only problem is, no one came!" jokes Dunn. "So, we decided to do it all again, breathe some fresh air into the show, but also make sure that we maintain the intimacy and emotional honesty that we had last time around. This is a tribute show like no other, filled with personal stories by the artists, and I am very excited to bring it to a stage again. And to cry a lot."

Pouring their hearts out on the stage that night will be Eric Chambliss (Fiddler on the Roof), Cortnie DeVore, Peter Dunn, Kathryn Francisco (The Wild Party), Adelaide James, Brian Krinsky (Anything Goes, Beauty and the Beast), Jonathan Mousset (Newsies), Samantha Parrish (Teeth, Toast), Jake McKenna (Wicked/Frozen), Morgan Reilly, Angelica Rodriguez and Nya Trysha (Motown)

"Ed SHeeran is one of those contemporary songwriters who actually tells stories," says co-producer, Parrish. "His lyrics hold more depth than just the ins and outs of menial relationships. There aren't artists these days that tell the story of their grandparents courtship, or the pain of a miscarriage. I feel a connection to his music in a way that transcends genre. But don't get me wrong, he can write a banger too. That's what makes me love him so much."
