Actress/singer/storyteller Fiona-Jane examines the fascinating labyrinth that is London: its history, geography and advanced eccentricity. In LOVING LONDON: The Capital Cabaret, Fiona-Jane explores London’s roots from the Romans right up to the present day - 1,000 years of pageantry and culture. Fiona-Jane, a proper London lady, is an actress capable of capturing many facets of London life. With help from Samuel Pepys, the Kinks, Petula Clark, Alan Bennet, Mrs Lovett and many others, Fiona-Jane reveals the light and dark sides of this astonishing city. In the year of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics, it’s a momentous time to celebrate the capital.

Musical direction is by Edmund Bussey with songs including “The Worst Pies in London”, “Mack The Knife “ (from Threepenny Opera) and “Waterloo Sunset”.
