Talent America's 2001 "Performer of the Year" Brian De Lorenzo presents a tribute to two of the greatest singers of the American Songbook, Frank Sinatra & Tony Bennett in "Sinatra, Tony & Me", Sunday, April 27 and Sunday May 4 at 12 noon, at The Metropolitan Room, 24 W. 22nd Street, New York. Taking the stage with the Bill Zeffiro Trio, De Lorenzo appears in this encore performance following his appearance at Boston's top jazz venue, Scullers Jazz Club.

"There are good shows and there are great shows, but once in a blue moon you're at a cabaret and you know something extraordinary is going on," lauds Beverly Creasey of Cabaret Scenes magazine. "De Lorenzo is at the top of his game." De Lorenzo brings the famed rat pack legends to life through his skilled styling of Sinatra and Bennett's best tunes, including "Fools Rush In," "The Best Is Yet to Come," Luck Be a Lady, " and "I Left My Heart in San Francisco." Heartfelt delivery coupled with De Lorenzo's natural charm, blended with the sweetness and melancholy of his interpretation, makes his performance a stand out.

His performances have been applauded at Mabel Mercer Cabaret Conventions in New York and Chicago and at three Boston Cabaret Festivals. He has appeared in Independent Reviewer of New England (IRNE) - and Elliot Norton Award-winning theatre productions in the Boston area. His CD "Found Treasures" was nominated for the 2000 "Recording of the Year" Award by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC). He is a three-time nominee for an IRNE Award for "Best Cabaret Show."

Bill Zeffiro is the winner of five MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs) Awards, his most recent being the 2014 Award for "Best Restaurant/Hotel Lounge Instrumentalist." He has appeared at the Café Carlyle, Town Hall, The Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, and Lincoln Center. His songs have been recorded and performed by Tony Award Winner George S. Irving, Emily Bergl, Terese Genecco, and multi award-winning vocalist Marissa Mulder. He music-directed and arranged Mulder's critically acclaimed CD Illusions. He is regarded as an expert on the music of Kay Swift and produced the legendary Merkin Hall concert in 1986. He has also written scripts for USA TV Network's "Up All Night".

Instrumentalists with The Bill Zeffiro trio bring their own prestigious accolades. Bassist John Miller has performed live with both Bennett and Sinatra, and brings an incredible list of celebrity highlights to his career, including recording with Bennett himself. Percussionist Chip Fabrizi doubles his performance life as a recording studio owner, and has recorded with the likes of Roberta Flack, Phoebe Snow, Mickey Dolenz, Paul Newman, Kathleen Turner, Stephen Sondheim, John Kander, Sheldon Harnick, and Marvin Hamlisch. Tickets for "Sinatra, Tony & Me" are $25, plus a two drink minimum, and may be purchased by visiting www.metropolitanroom.com, or by calling 212-206-0440.
