Sunnyside Concert Series presents Helen Hayes Award Winner Brian Childers and performer Amanda Keane-Stack who return to queens in a new concert entitled "Someone Else's Story".
The concert is an evening of story songs, featuring music from pop, musical theater, and folk, highlighting such composers as Jason Robert Brown, Stephen Schwartz, Bareilles, Simon and Garfunkel and more.
The concert is part of a free performance series sponsored by Sunnyside Reformed Church in Queens. The concert is in its sixth year and promotes different acts from Rock, Theater, Film, Classical, and Poetry.
The performance runs at Sunnyside Reformed Church, 48-03 Skillman Ave. Sunnyside, Queens on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 at 7pm. Free!

Brian Childers Brian received the 2002 Helen Hayes Award for "Outstanding Leading Actor in a Musical" and the Mary Goldwater Award for his performance as Danny Kaye in "Danny and Sylvia: A Musical Love Story. His recent tour of his new one man show "An Evening with Danny Kaye" has received rave reviews and has been seen coast to coast including Los Angeles, New York, and Washington D.C. AMANDA KEANE STACK pursued her theatrical talents from VA to NYC, and across the country, touring in several producAons and performing regionally in South Carolina, Ohio and Texas. In NYC, she appeared in many producAons including the new musicals Shining Love in the Midtown InternaAonal Music Theatre FesAval, Out of Orbit with Vital Theatre and Blue Songs, Gray Songs. Some favorite roles include Mary Magdalene in "Jesus Christ Superstar", Sunny in "The Last Night of Ballyhoo" and Hodel in "Fiddler on the Roof". More recently, Amanda performed in cabaret rooms across Manhagan, though she has been on hiatus to be home with her young twins.
