Beechman To Welcome Barbara Walsh on 9/8

The Laurie Beechman Theatre will welcome Broadway's Barbara Walsh for a one night only concert, as part of their celebrated Voices from the Great White WaySeries. The series has just kicked off with sold out engagements from Becca Ayers (South Pacific),Donna Lynne Champlin (Sweeney Todd) and Luba Mason (Chicago). This one night only concert takes place on Monday, September 8th @ 7pm. There is a $25 cover, as well as a $15 food or beverage minimum (a full bar and dinner menu is available). The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located at 407 West 42nd St. (@ 9th Ave), in the heart of New York's theatre district. For reservations, which are recommended, please call 212 695 6909.

Barbara Walsh was most recently seen on Broadway in her=2 0tour de force performance as Joanne in John Doyle's celebrated revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Company,for which she received a Drama Desk nomination. Other Broadway credits include Hairspray(Velma Von Tussle), Big (Mrs. Baskin), Blood Brothers (Mrs. Lyons), her Drama Desk and Tony nominated performance as Trina in William Finn's Falsettos and Rock 'n Roll, The First 5,000 Years. Off Broadway and regional credits include A Little Night Music, The Most Happy Fella, A Streetcar Named Desire, Ra gtime (original Chicago 'Mother'), Asylum, Stars in Your Eyes, Houdini, A... My Name Will Always Be Alice, Birds of Paradise and her recent turn in Transport Group's Normal.Television credits include Law and Order, Law and Order: Criminal Intent and a recurring role onOne Life to Live.
