Now in its 16th season, Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook continues to expand its scope in celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting, with Barbara Cook closing out the series with upbeat tunes and a swinging band tonight, February 28, 2015 at 8:30 p.m. in The Appel Room at Lincoln Center.

With a decades-spanning career and an unmatched list of accolades including Kennedy Center Honors and Tony, Grammy, and Drama Desk awards, Broadway icon Barbara Cook is beloved for her legendary performances in the premiere production of The Music Man and lauded revivals of Oklahoma! and Carousel. The first female pop singer ever to perform a solo concert at the Metropolitan Opera, the silvery soprano returns to Lincoln Center to show once more why she is "the greatest singer in the world" (Financial Times).

This season's American Songbook in The Appel Room ran for 16 nights, featuring Broadway old and new, jazz, Americana, pop, Latin, hip hop, and folk.
