A full sized jazz orchestra composed of seventeen musicians all play bandleader Charlie Rosen's re-imagined arrangements of an eclectic mix of tunes from Broadway's past, present and beyond! Both modern and classic showtunes are on display in this hugely unique and winning evening, sung by the best and brightest of Broadway's young generation of leading performers in the timeless tradition of a big band. Tyce Green returns to Feinstein's/54 Below after debuting his solo concert in January 2016 and appearing in numerous Feinstein's/54 Below concerts over the last year, including 54 Sings Chess, Tina Turner, Heart, Turn the Beat Around, Total Eclipse, Starmites, and more.
Known for his unique, eclectic vocals, Tyce explores his roots in musical theatre and a little bit of rock that's influenced his career, but most importantly, he sings everything he loves. From the rock musicals Hedwig, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Spring Awakening to the classics Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, and Carousel, to the pop tunes of Lady Gaga and OneRepublic, and a Patti LuPone impression that would make Patti herself look twice. Tyce made his Off-Broadway debut in Kissless and has appeared in numerous shows in NYC and regionally, including Spring Awakening, Hands on a Hardbody, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Forbidden Broadway, Ragtime, LMNOP, and more. He also regularly appears in concerts around the country.
