For filmmaker Michael Lee Stever ('Broadway: The Golden Age,' 'Saturday Nightmares: The Movie) few things inspire him more than sitting down and chewing the fat with colleagues in the biz who possess an equally tenacious appreciation for their 'entertainment history.'

Stever recently sat down with critically acclaimed actress/director Angelica Page, to discuss her induction into the legendary 'League Of Professional Theatre Women,' as well as a slew of other notable events - past & present - which have culminated in creating one of our industry's true stars-in-the-making.

Angelica Page is no stranger to the slippery slope of living as the offspring to famous parents. "It's strange in this country," says Page, who just happens to be the daughter of film/stage legends Geraldine Page & Rip Torn. Overseas in England, if you're the child of theatrical legends, you are automatically expected to pick up that baton. It's only in the U.S. that we seem to want to call it some form of nepotism."

Page chuckles when revealing that with every door that's been opened to her, two more have been slammed in her face.

2010 & 2011 however, have been banner years for Page as she adds one great new work after another to her already impressive list of credits.

Having just wrapped up the successful National Tour of 'August Osage Country' playing opposite the legendary Estelle Parsons, in addition to screening her debut film, 'Lucky Days' Page kept her acting chops sharp with critically acclaimed turns in both 'The Radiant' at Coral Gable's 'New Theater,' followed by her blisteringly visceral 'Anna Christie' with New York City's historic 'The Actor's Studio' where Page also serves as a board member, and instructor.

Presently, Angelica is gearing up for what could be her most cherished role to date - the role of documentary filmmaker - as she prepares to produce a never before seen peek behind the life and legend that was her mother, Geraldine Page. Upon winning her Academy Award® in 1985, legendary film & stage star Geraldine Page was named "the greatest actress of the English language."

Since her death almost 25 years ago, not one book or documentary examining her prolific professional career-nor her mysterious and tumultuous private life-exists. Through her own vivid memories, private home movies, unseen last interviews and rare footage, Angelica will explore and expose the deepest core of this never before shared story-a celebration of a graceful, gracious and irreverent artist.
