Cabaret legends KT Sullivan and Jeff Harnar's captivating revival of REMEMBER: SONGS OF THE HOLIDAYS is a great way to kick off the holiday season. The dynamic duo first performed this show in 1998, and it is every bit as fresh and entertaining today. Whatever you celebrate during this holiday season, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Accompanied by music director David Gaines, they brought back the nostalgia of yesteryear with the titular "Remember" by Harry Nilsson, a gorgeous duet of "O Holy Night," (given a stunning arrangement by John Bucchino, Brian Lane Green, and Holly Near), and more holiday classics throughout the evening.

Composer David Friedman's work was featured several times throughout the evening, from the beautiful "My Simple Christmas Wish" to "Just in Time for Christmas." Many other great songwriters, such as Carole King ("Home Again") and Paul Simon ("Homeward Bound"), were also featured in several entertaining medleys that included Carol Hall's "Hard Candy Christmas."

The holiday cheer continued as I sat down with Harnar and Sullivan after the show to chat for a few minutes. Check out the video!

Jeff Harnar and KT Sullivan's REMEMBER: SONGS OF THE HOLIDAYS will continue at The Laurie Beechman Theatre on December 5 at 7:00 PM. For tickets and information, visit www.westendcafe.com.
