BROADWAY SESSIONS Offers First 'Broadway Game Night' Tonight

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

Tonight, January 22nd, Broadway Sessions will hold it's first ever "Broadway Game Night". 2 teams of Broadway favorites will go head to head in a series of hilarious games and challenges. Resulting in "Swan Song" musical performances. Scheduled to "play" are Charl Brown, Jessica Hendy, Peter Gregus, Ta'Rea Campbell, Mike Schwitter and Ellyn Marie Marsh.

Charl Brown received a Tony nomination for his portrayal of Smokey Robinson in Motown. Other Broadway credits include Sister Act and Jersey Boys.

Ellyn Marie Marsh is currently featured in Kinky Boots and will present an encore performance of her 1 woman show "Innapropriate" at 54 Below on 1-31. Other Broadway credits include Priscilla and Enron.

Peter Gregus continues his run as Bob Crewe in Jersey Boys. Gregus has also appeared on Broadway in Contact and Ain't Broadway Grand.

Ta'Rea Campbell recently starred as Delores Van Cartier in the national production of Sister Act. Campbell has been seen on Broadway in Leap of Faith, Little Shop of Horrors, Aida, The Book of Mormon and The Lion King (Nala).

Jessica Hendy will be featured in the upcoming Radio City Music Hall Spring Spectacular. Hendy has been seen on Broadway in Aida and Amour.

Mike Schwitter recently made his Broadway debut as 'Lewis' in Pippin also understudying the title character.

Two audience members will be selected to join a team and play and perform alongside their Broadway team mates.

Doors will open at 10pm for pre show Open Mic with "Game Time" at 11pm.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 West 42nd Street (corner of 42nd Street and 9th Avenue).
