BROADWAY SESSIONS Welcomes Giant's Thompson And Composer Cronin July 28th

Broadway Sessions w/ Ben D is thrilled to welcome Katie Thompson and the music of Bobby Cronin July 28th.

Katie Thompson is an acclaimed singer/songwriter and actress. Most recently she created the role of Vashti in Michael John LaChiusa's 'Giant' at the Signature Theater in Arlington, Virginia. Earlier this year her concert 'Katie Thompson and Friends' played to a standing room only crowd at Birdland. Ms. Thompson will be offering 2 shows of her original music at The Laurie Beechman Theater on July 29th at 7 pm and July 30th at 9:30. Admission is $15.00 ($10 union rate). Bobby Cronin is the composer of 'B.R.A.T.T. Camp' which just enjoyed a succesful run in Chicago. His music has been featured on stages from Joe's Pub to Lincoln Center and has been performed by a host of Broadway luminaries. Cronin will be offering 2 concerts at The Laurie Beechman Theater on August 3rd at 7 and 9:30. The concert titled 'Reach the Sky, The Music and Lyrics of Bobby Cronin', will be recorded for an album of the same name. Admission is $15.00. On hand to perform Cronin's music Tuesday night will be host Ben Cameron and vocalist Eric Michael Krop.
